Update for our artists

Hello Regional Artists, just a note about picking up your paintings after our show is completed. You may pick up paintings July 1 or 2, 11am-5pm ....or from July 7 on (call George at 503-703-5188 for appointment). We have one more week, so be sure to let your friends, family and collectors know so they can see it before July 1. 

It goes without saying (but, we'll say it anyway)...we are so pleased with our artists!  Thank you for showing with Broderick Gallery!

Call to Artists: Broderick Gallery June Show

Longview, Or, May 6, 2015-- Calling all Artists to submit to Regional Art, an exhibit to be shown at Broderick Gallery; June 3-July 1 in Longview, OR. Gallery owner George Broderick is now accepting submissions and will serve as juror.

This show will open June 3 and Close on July 1. The show is open to all artists. 

Submission Guidelines: 


1. An artist may submit 1-4 jpegs of their work for consideration. Oils, acrylic, pastel or watercolor. Any subject matter.

2. Submissions will be accepted via email to: george@broderickgallery.com

3. There is a submission fee per image (see item #8 below)

4. Please send quality images, 1000 pixels on the longest side, 180 dpi.

5. Do not refer us to websites for image submission. 


6. Include contact information (name, address, email, and phone.)



7. Include title of piece, media, dimensions and price.  All work must be original and for sale. The commission is 40% to the Gallery.

8. The submission fee is 5 dollars per image submitted. The preferred payment method is through Paypal. https://www.paypal.com/
(Payee george@broderickgallery.com and reference the Paypal transaction number in your email jpeg submission).
You may also send a check to Broderick Gallery 1318 Commerce Avenue, Longview, OR 98632

9. Deadline for electronic entry is June 1, 2011 at Midnight.

ART EXHIBIT NAME:  A Year in Paint (Sweetman and Bergin two woman show)

EXHIBIT DESCRIPTION:

Broderick Gallery announces that Quin Sweetman and Celeste Bergin will have a two-woman show entitled A Year in Paint opening at the Broderick Gallery on November 6, 2014.

Both Sweetman and Bergin are Pacific Northwest artists who work mostly from life and direct observation. A Year in Paint represents key paintings completed during the past twelve months.  Many of the selected paintings were completed “en plein air” (outdoors, in the manner of the French Impressionists, often in one sitting). Interiors, figures, still life and some studio work will also be included in A Year in Paint.

Sweetman and Bergin are acclaimed artists with a breadth of experiences and tributes between them. Quin Sweetman is an award winning oil painter whose work has been shown in numerous exhibitions including CW Lofts Minneapolis, Walters Cultural Art Center and the People’s Art Gallery among others. Celeste Bergin’s recent professional achievements include Curator for the Pacific NW Plein Air Competition 2014 and invited artist in Portland Art Museum's Paris in the Park event. She has won many awards and shown work in over 100 exhibitions including the Columbia Art Gallery, the Pittock Mansion, Portland City Hall and numerous galleries.

Broderick Gallery presents an art exhibition entitled: The Private Collection. The show is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view and purchase original art by twenty of the most revered artists of the Twentieth Century.

Broderick celebrates new gallery location with open house

August 2, 2013 LONGVIEW WA - Broderick Gallery is unveiling a new art exhibit, in the new gallery location, 1416 Commerce Avenue, Longview Wa, with an open house on Saturday, August 10 (6-9pm). The public is invited. Our current exhibit will be on display throughout August.

Broderick Gallery relocated to a Longview address from the former address in Rainier.

Broderick gallery will host new shows and First Thursday receptions each month.

Broderick Gallery presents an art exhibition entitled Kristina Sellers & Friends.  The exhibit showcases oil paintings by Contemporary Impressionist Artist Kristina Sellers.

Kristina Sellers has an affinity for painting ‘en plein air’ and also enjoys creating figure and studio paintings. Sellers devotes herself to painting full-time and actively participates in art events and community building programs.

The exhibit will include some paintings by other regional artists such as Allen Schmertzler, Quin Sweetman, George Broderick, and Kay Elmore.
